Toronto 2025: it has been years since the unexplained outbreak. Most humans have perished and the world has collapsted. A few humans have survived and Jonas lives with his son Tim inside the Royal Ontario Museum. Trying to survive they scatter for food and live off what's left from humanity. But they are not alone ... a new breed emerged from the ashes of the world ...

Christian Boeving ventured out in 2003 and created a sci-fi storyline together with Brian LaBelle. They shot a trailer for R(e)Evolution in 2005 (watch the now defunct trailer below) and have been unsuccessful with selling the storyline to either a major studio or to a television carrier like Sci-Fi. Without getting into details on "how it happened" 2 years later Warner Bros released the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith. Unfortunately the storyline between the two movies are identical in many ways.

This was the death sentence for the project "R(e)Evolution" and the project was put on ice. Christian Boeving is a longterm personal friend of Guido Baechler, CEO of Jeridoo Productions and Baechler Productions and they have worked together on other television, magazines and fitness projects since early 2000. Beginning of 2008 Guido agreed with Christian to refresh the project and soon they went into dissecting the original story of R(e)Evolution. No matter how they tried to twist and turn the original story line the movie was always to close to "I am Legend".

As an executive decision late 2008 Jeridoo Productions took over the 2003 defunct project RE(e)Evolution from Christian Boeving. The original story has been scrapped for good! Guido decided to relay on the storytelling ability of award winning director Andy Attenhofer, with whom Guido co-produced the movie "Suspension of Disbelief". Therefore the new creators and makers have gone back to the drawing board!

Working for more than one year on it, Guido Baechler and Andy Attenhofer wrote a new story, which has nothing in common with the original story ideas of R(e)Evolution. Under the working title "Cause & Effect" a new, never before seen, story has emerged.

The movie is currently in the first stage of pre-production. The story is being fine tuned and our VFX creators are working day and night on new concept art. And rumor has it that some major A-class Hollywood star is eyeing the leading role. Chrisitan Boeving will keep "original story idea" credit and might play a role in the movie. Production will commence early 2011 in Toronto, Ontario.

The connections between the two cities are easily explained. The makers, Guido Baechler and Andy Attenhofer, are both originally from Lucerne, Switzerland. So is the main leading character in the movie. The creators of the movie chose Toronto for it's beautiful skyline and lower than Hollywood's production costs. The Royal Ontario Museum will, amongst other famous places, play a main role in the movie set.
