The story of the solar taxi started with a teacher from Lucerne Switzerland by the name of Louis Palmer. He, and his fellow students, invented a vehicle solely driven by solar power. With this self-built vehicle Louis drove around the globe. From Switzerland through the African continent, Arabia, Singapore, Australia, Japan, United States, to Canada and back over to Europe. The story has been documented in a short series, unfortunately only in Swiss German. However, enjoy the shows below.
